Digiment currently has one game on the Android Market called Box It 2! which features the character Marv. Well Marv is coming back to Android in a new title called Marv the Miner 2 and is nearing the end of development as it is now in beta status.

Marv the Miner 2 is a platform game where you control Marv using on-screen controls and you'll be navigating him through 50+ stages of the game. When we say platform game though we literally mean platform game. The goal is to highlight all the platforms on a particular level in order to make it to the next. This is easier said then done though as you'll have monsters hunting you down like the werebear and mini-dragon.

Features:

  • Over 50 levels of fun and challenging game play
  • Monsters like werebears, mini-dragons and ozing blobs block his way and hunt him
  • Loads of features such as teleports, springs, cannons, fire traps and elevators to name a few
  • Upload-able high scores

Already this sounds like it will be a fun platformer to play and kill some time with. Although no exact release date has been mentioned, along with price, the developers are looking for beta testers. The only requirement for being a beta tester is that you have an Android phone with a WVGA screen. If you're interested in beta testing Marv the Miner 2 (if they have spots available still) just get in contact with Digiment through this email: betatest [at] digiment.co.uk

We will be sure to announce when this fun looking platformer gets released. You may also want to keep an eye out for other titles coming soon from Digiment including Puck Smasher and Space Racers.
