Pocket Legends players should be getting the 1.7.3 content update for Pocket Legends right now and the big news with this update is something that a lot of player have wanted. This update brings support for guilds! Here are the full details for guilds in Pocket Legends.

So now that guilds are finally in-game, here is what you need to know about guilds, especially if you are planning to start one.

  • Creating a Guild: Anyone can create a Guild. To do so, you can visit the Guild Charter Statue in Balefort Castle or, go to your Avatar's Social Tab and then to the Guild Tab. Currently the creation of a Guild costs either 20 Platinum or 250,000 Gold. The person who purchases the charter becomes the guild leader.
  • Adding Members: There are two ways to add people to your guild once it's created.1)Tap on your friend's character, then Tap on the "Invite to Guild" button and 2) Go to your Social Tab, then to the Guild Tab and tap the "Invite" guild. Only the Guild Leader and Guild Officers can invite people into guilds. The player will be able to review their Guild Invites by going to their Avatar, then the Social Tab and then to Guilds.
  • Guild Chat: There is now a slash command for talking in guild chat. This is done by typing /g such as /g hello guild!
  • Guild Name or Icon: By default, when you are in a Guild an Icon will display next to your name. The blue icon displays for your guild and anyone else in your guild. A tan icon shows that someone is in a different guild from yours. If you want to display the full guild name under your name, you can change that in options. The guild Icons are a way to help with visual clutter when there are a lot of guilds and names on the screen.
  • Guild Roster: A roster is available for you to look and see who is a part of your guild
  • Guild Permissions (a.k.a Ranks): At the Guild Roster, the Guild Leader can promote Members to be Officers. Officers can also invite or remove people from the guild.
  • Guild Halls: There are different types of guild halls available for purchase.
    • The first Guild Hall gives you a nifty space to hang out in, all your own. There is a Stash in the Guild Hall that you can use to access your personal stash. To go into the Guild Hall, go to the portal just past the Guild Charters Statue in Balefort Castle.
    • The 2nd Guild Hall - The Summer Palace includes an extra outdoor space, more lush decorations and a vendor selling lower priced Potions.

This is apparently just the beginning for guilds in Pocket Legends and Spacetime Studios has already started hinting at even more functionality to come in the future through updates. The new Guild feature aside, the new update also brought some other fixes and improvements as well which are listed below:

  • Elixirs now stack and reset appropriately
  • Nuri's Hallows: Glyph Plate Helmet and Buckler now require Strength to equip and not Intelligence
  • The following class specific vanity items have been removed from the Platinum store and placed on a special vendor in Nuri's Hallows:
    • Enchantress Vanity item: "Nightmare!"
    • Archer Vanity item: "Mimic!"
    • Warrior Vanity item: "Lionhead of Darkness"
  • Deal of the Day no longer shows same current and sale price
  • You can no longer retrieve a completed auction if the gold award would put you over the gold limit.
  • You can no longer purchase gold with platinum if it would put you over the gold limit.

Overall this is a pretty massive update if not for the guild feature alone. So what are you waiting for? Go update and join up with your friends in your new guild!
