You may remember back in May of this year we mentioned that Disgaea would be making a trip to Android soon. After that post there was little to no information about how it was coming along or when the hell it would arrive, even after contacting NIS ourselves to find out. Well we have some good news finally.
The good news is this, Disgaea will be coming to Android this Fall. The actual game will be Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound and according to Destructoid, the game will be pretty much like the original version of Disgaea: Netherworld Unbound except for a few tweaks that will be needed to run on Android device properly. The visuals will also remain as close to the PS1 version as possible as well.
No word on exactly when this will come out aside from 'the Fall' as well as no pricing has been relieved just yet. On the flip side, at least we know it's finally coming. Rumor does have it coming as a freemium game though with more content available through in-game purchases but again, this is only a rumor about the freemium pricing. This does, however, coincide with our previous post about Disgaea coming to Android and for free though.
