Capcom and LG have some great news for all your fighting game fans out there and that is Street Fighter IV is coming to Android. However, the news does come with a bit of a catch and that is it will be temporarily exclusive to LG's upcoming HD Android phone later this year.

If you're looking to upgrade your phone soon and you're on a carrier that will be receiving one of LG's upcoming HD phones then this is great news for you. However, if you won't be upgrading your device later this year to an LG HD Android phone then you will have to wait three months before Street Fighter IV will be released for the rest of the Android world to play.

This news also brings up another interesting subject, LG's HD Android phone which is apparently arriving to stores soon. These HD devices have some new screen technology that they haven't revealed yet. According to LG’s CEO Dr Jong-seok Park, these screens will be amazing and well worth it for Street Fighter fans to get these devices.

LG’s soon-to-be-unveiled HD display technology will give Street Fighter fans a whole new reason to play the game again - LG CEO Dr. Jong-seok Park

We do know that LG Android phones tend to land on T-Mobile so that would be a good guess as to at least one carrier that will see these LG HD phone on. No word on exactly when these phones will hit the store shelves, just that it will be later this year. This also means we should expect LG to announce what this new screen technology is rather soon as well.
