The Tokyo Game Show came with much more news for mobile gaming than we thought it would which is always nice and among the news was Sony's announcement of the Playstation Suite SDK for developing games for Playstation Certified devices and a more vague announcement of a push for content on those devices.
This fits right in line from what we learned over at VDCC (Verizon's Developer Conference) last week when talking with Sony Ericsson who also mentioned that now with a few devices out that are Playstation Certified, Sony will be concentrating a bit more on pushing content for those devices. Well it seems as though, even with the vague announcement at the Tokyo Game Show that more content would be coming but no real details mentioned, there is actually a list of 25 games heading to Playstation Certified devices. These include the Xperia Play, Playstation Vita and Sony's two new Android tablets plus any unannounced devices for the future.
25 Playstation Suite games' list:
As you may notice from the list that some of the titles are already available on the Xperia Play such as Crash Bandicoot, MediEvil and Destruction Derby but the majority of the games listed are unreleased as of right now. Unfortunately there is no time line as to when more of these titles in the list will land on our Android Playstation Certified devices. You can check out the Keynote video above to see Zero Gravity being played on both the Xperia Play and the Playstation Vita.
