Real Steel is an upcoming movie which, if you love robots will get you all giddy with excitement, features giant robots who slug it out instead of boxers in the future. The movie isn't even out yet and it already has a mobile game which was just released on iOS and is also announced as coming to Android soon.

In the game version of Real Steel you will be taking command of one of these giant robots and slugging it out in a no-holds-barred fighting tournament against other giant robots. There are no pins or knockouts in this game, or the movie, as each fight is to the death which is fine since they are robots anyways.

Real Steel comes with two game modes, Tournament and Sparring. Tournament is the main game mode where you'll be battling your way through other robots and, eventually, fighting the champion named Midas who is a giant gold robot. In Sparring mode you can go up against opponents to practice your skills and your ability to beat on other robots. There are a total of eight giant metal opponents to unlock on your journey to Midas, all bend on beating the crap out of you.

Currently, as of the time of writing this, the Android version of Real Steel is set to be released 'soon'. For those of you curious, the movie is set to come out Oct. 7th, 2011.
