OrangePixel is right on schedule with their release of their platformer called StarDash. You may or may not have read the past couple of articles we've released about this new game from our friends at OrangePixel but if you are a fan of retro games, this is right up your alley.
Based on the idea of what would Nintendo Gameboy titles be like on Android, OrangePixel set out to find out just that and in the process make an enjoyable platformer in the style of Mario Bros but with a few modern game mechanics thrown into the mix.
Features:
StarDash takes a lot of influence from old Gameboy platform games such as Marion Bros and similar titles but freshens them up with features like achievements. OrangePixel has also gone out of their way to ensure that retro-gaming experience is complete by supporting a variety of control schemes depending on if you use a controller or not. This includes the Game Gripper, Xperia Play and even the Wii Mote.
You can download StarDash off the Android Market right now for $2.18 or try it for free before you buy it with the Lite free version of the game. Don't go to far though, our review of StarDash will be available later today!
