There is a new turn-based strategy boardgame coming to Android shortly called Neuroshima Hex which is currently on iOS and is in the final stages of being ported over. Developed by Big Daddy's Creations, which you seriously have to love that name, this is actually a fairly complicated technical game.
The goal of the game is to defeat your opponent which is done by landing strikes on your opponents base until it's health is down to zero. All your pieces are hexagonal and therefor, like most games that use pieces shaped like this, some sides have attack/defense statistics while others do not so you will have to plan carefully.
It gets even deeper than that though as much of the combat between pieces can actually take multiple rounds to resolve. With that said, you really have to plan ahead a couple of moves a lot of the time, sort of like if you were playing chess. This is a multiplayer game as well so you will be paying against other people, however, we don't know as of yet if it will be cross-platform compatible multiplayer or not.
No exact release date has been announced for when Neuroshima Hex will arrive on Android, just that it will be out later this year. To check the game out in action you can view the trailer below.
