Amazon Free Game Today Sept. 26th: Treasures of Montezuma 2 plus R-Type is on sale.

Today on the Amazon App Store is a pretty solid puzzle game called Treasures of Montezuma 2 from Herocraft. At it's core it is a Bejeweled/match-3 type of game but with an Aztec theme and various gameplay modes to choose from.

In Treasures of Montezuma 2 you will be matching three or more of the same gems in order to eliminate them from the playing field. The more of the same color gems you match up and eliminate at the same time, the more you charge up your totem which will allow you to use special powers to help you along the way.

Overall it is a pretty solid game from the folks over at Herocraft and it is pretty enjoyable to play over short or long periods of time. Usually this title goes for $1.99 on the Amazon App Store but for today it is available for free for anyone who has access to the Amazon App Store.
