Last week we reported on Minecraft: Pocket Edition coming to all other Android devices today. So far the update hasn't hit the Android Market and we now know why. According to Daniel Kaplan of Mojang, they found a nasty bug in Minecraft: Pocket Edition which needs to be fixed before it's released.
It was announced by Daniel on Twitter that a pretty big bug was found. Whatever the bug is, it was bad enough to delay the release for all other Android devices. It could still arrive on the Android Market today or it could be tomorrow or the next day. Either way, we will keep everyone posted on the status of Minecraft: Pocket Edition and whether or not it will arrive today or be delayed until another date. We do know that it will be for Android 2.2+ devices at release time.
