PixoFactor developing Steampunk themed strategy game called Gaslight

You may recognize the name PixoFactor but if not, that's okay. While they only have a couple of titles available on the Android Market, those couple of titles are actually pretty decent games. They have a new game under development however called Gaslight.

Gaslight will be a Steampunk themed strategy game that will be arriving on Android and iOS soon. Pixofactor has teamed up with Tapjoy and managed to get into Tapjoy's $5 million dollar Android development fund where indie developers can get help monetarily speaking while they develop games for Android. While PixoFactor's first two games on Android, Judy Moody and Zorro: Shadow of Vengeance, were fairly well received and were pretty decent games, Gaslight should end up being even better thanks to the additional funding through TapJoy.

PixoFactor is also currently adding some of Tapjoy's features to their two other games on Android as well. Some of the tools TapJoy provides are in-game currency engine, game state server for virtual economy management and mobile analytics platform.

Gaslight already sounds like an interesting game if for no other reason because of it's Steampunk theme but unfortunately there is no other information available about the game right now as it is in heavy development. We will be watching for any more news coming our way about Gaslight in the near future. We figured we would give any of our readers who happen to be fans of Steampunk stuff a heads up.
