Hidden Gem: Puzzle-platformer, Constant C by Brain Damage will really warp your mind

A recent puzzle-platformer that landed on the Android Market from indie developers going by the name of Brain Damage called Constant C  will really have you wrapping your brain around not only the puzzles in the game but the added challenge of switching the gravity during gameplay.

Constant C has already been on the Android Market for a couple of weeks with some impressive download numbers (10k-50k) but as free games go, it should have a lot more than that, especially because of how entertainingly frustrating but fun this game is. The storyline behind the game is actually pretty interesting as well so we will quote the developer on this one:

In a distant future, a dark force gained control of the universe. Everything stopped moving – the time is frozen and gravity is gone. The only hope of recovering the universe relies on “Constant C,” a robot gifted with a small circle of power, allowing Constant C to move and to revive the time and gravity within the circle. When Constant C approaches an object, the object becomes “alive” and when Constant C leaves, the object becomes frozen again.

This 'circle of power' is your main tool in helping our little robot friend get to the control panel to set things right in each stage. Each level features different, unique puzzles that you'll need to be creative to solve and each stage (there is a total of 29 levels), for the most part, will require you to shift gravity in order to get to where you need to go in order to remove objects, solve puzzles and get to the control panel.

Graphically it is a blend of 2D graphics with some 3D effects and depth-of-field with the background images and all of it, even though they are all various styles of graphics, blend nicely and keep with the futuristic feel of the entire game.

If you're a fan of puzzle and.or platform games, you'll definitely want to get this goodie out. Brain Damage released Constant C onto the Android Market for free to there is no reason to not go ahead and give it a whirl. It's definitely for those gamers who like a challenge.
