Hidden Gem: Reflexions from YoYo Games bringing some retro gaming love

YoYo Games has had quite a bit of success on the Android Market with publishing games such as They Need To Be Fed and Karoshi so one would think that when they release a new game, people would be all over it. Unfortunately, that is not the case and Reflexions is an example of that.

Reflexions is an interesting puzzle game where you rotate the mirrors in order to bounces your ball around to collect the diamonds while avoiding obstacles and other nasty things that can kill you. Once you've collected all the diamonds in a particular level you move onto the next one. The premise is simple and addicting due to the style of gameplay with it testing your reflexes while making you think a few moves ahead at the same time, but Reflexions also has that great retro Tron look to it with glowing neon line graphics.

Features:

  • Optimized for both your Tablet and Handheld devices!
  • Simple Single touch controls
  • 40 levels over 4 Worlds to progress through
  • 20 Achievements to unlock

While both of YoYo Games other hit titles have seen a good amount of sales, Reflexions has been out for 8 days and has only sold between 10-50 copies which is surprising considering how popular puzzle games are as well as the graphical style Reflexions presents. If you like retro-style games that are definitely not your normal type of puzzle game to play, give Reflexions a whirl. You can pick it up off the Android Market for around $2.33.

Thanks to Roger Lyons for the tip! If you have a game you think is a hidden gem, let us know!
