Yesterday we mentioned that Big Blue Bubble would be dropping the sequel to their hit puzzle game Burn the Rope called Burn the Rope: Worlds. Well a couple of days ago we noticed that they had released a new game onto iOS called Dark Incursion which we previously mentioned back in August as being one of five upcoming games they would be releasing on Android soon.

Well with Burn the Rope: Worlds nearing it's release onto Android, we thought our readers would like an update on the other upcoming titles we mentioned back in August. Well the good news is that Big Blue Bubble has three new games coming to Android sometime in November, one of which is Dark Incursion while the other being Hamster Cannon and Fling A Thing.

Dark Incursion is a steampunk themed side-scrolling action game that features some highly detailed pixel art as well. However, as cool as the game sounds on those facts alone, it also has another interesting feature that will be coming along with it and that is the game will come with the ability to play it in full stereoscopic 3D. The back story for Dark Incursion is pretty interesting as well with a sort of James Bond type of plot.

Features:

  • Stereoscopic 3D using classic Red/Blue 3D glasses!
  • Countless enemies from super soldiers to monstrous creatures!
  • Customizable bioweaponry with hundreds of deadly combinations!
  • Intriguing story!
  • Fantastic SteamPunk art style!

The game takes place in an alternate reality in the late 1800’s, amidst an industrial revolution and a world war.  Your character, Anya, is one of the few who know about a secret military laboratory developing biological weaponry that could devastate the entire planet if it got out of control. Obviously it is your job to stop this from happening.

No word on exactly when in November it will be released or on pricing but if the pricing follows that of the iOS version, Dark Incursion will cost around $1.99. You can check out the game in action in the preview trailer below.

The second title coming out next month is called Hamster Cannon which is a physics-based puzzle game where you will be in control of various hamsters which you can combine (slightly morbid sounding isn't it?) and launch out of a cannon with the goal of collecting as many "Golden Noms" in each stage. There are a total of eight hamsters out of which you will select three to complete a stage. Each hamster has their own special ability as well that you will need to take advantage of in order to complete each level.

Features:

  • Over 70 intricately designed cages to blast your hamsters around!
  • Clever physics puzzles!
  • An overabundance of wildly attractive headgear!
  • Fun for the whole family!

Hamster Cannon will be one of those fun physics-based puzzle game you can play just about anywhere for any duration of time, just like you would with Angry Birds. The levels have some pretty interesting design features and each one also comes with the usual star rating system.

Just like Dark Incursion, there is no exact release date for Hamster Cannon's launch in November or pricing either although, if it follows the iOS pricing, it will be available for $0.99 on the Android Market when it launches. You can check out the trailer below to see Hamster Cannon in action.

Big Blue Bubble's third game coming in November is a weird little game called Fling a Thing where you will have to shoot your 'Thing' into the air and collect all the bubbles. Once all the bubbles are collected you move on to the next stage. Your 'Thing' happens to look like some weird fantasy insect similar to a Dragonfly with a suction cup for a mouthand you have five to choose from. As you progress through the game you will climb higher and interact with even stranger objects while trying to collect those previous, delicious air bubbles.

Features:

  • Breathtakingly imaginative graphics!
  • Easy-to-play, innovative slingshot mechanic!
  • 5 adorably different ‘Things’!
  • 3 exciting worlds to explore!
  • Upgradable power-ups!

Fling a Thing looks like it will be quite fun and the art style is certainly different then what you would find in most games. This looks like it will be a great little time killer for your Android device. We do know a bit more of a solid release date for Fling A Thing's launch. It is set to be released in the 1st week of November and will probably retail at the same price as it's iOS brother which is $0.99. You can check out Fling A Thing in action in the trailer below.
