Well a lot of our readers have been waiting for this game to get released and now that wait is finally over as Namco has launched Puzzle Quest 2 onto the Android Market. If you haven't played the first one and don't' happen to know what this game is about, we shall enlighten you.

Puzzle Quest is essentially and RPG title that has combat revolve around a match-3 style of game similar to other games like Bejeweled. Instead of jewels though you have runes and actual skills you can use during combat to help you defeat your enemies.

Features:

  • Experience the ultimate Match 3 puzzle adventure!
  • Customize your characters with 4 classes in both genders.
  • Explore an immense and immersive fantasy RPG world!

Puzzle Quest has a pretty strong following and fans of the game have been asking when this would finally make it to Android. Well it's here now but there is a bit of a catch. The game supports 800x480, 854x480, 960x540, 1024x600 and 1280x800 screen resolutions and requires you to have an SD Card with at least 270MB of free space. It's not a small game at all. Most newer devices shouldn't have a problem with this, just some of the older ones.

You can grab Puzzle Quest 2 off the Android Market for free with in-game purchasing.

Thanks to Joel for the tip!
