New Tegra-based game, Princess Punt THD, slips out on Tegra Zone, then quietly disappears

From the developer of the rather well known MMORPG called Ragnarok Online comes Princess Punt THD and is a bit of a slightly different kind of game then you would normally find on the Tegra Zone store. It's a blend of RPG and puzzle genres with some interesting comic-style graphics, similar to what is found in Samurai II: Vengeance.

Princess Punt THD is a rather odd game as it has you playing as the Princess who, along with some heroes of hers, go after enemies each stage in a rather unique fashion. She will, after you've set up the angle and everything, punt her heroes at the enemies, literally. While in flight the heroes will collect coins and when they land, if they are close enough, they will attack the enemies closest to them. Along the way these heroes will actually level up as each kill gains that hero who made the kill some XP.

As you level up your heroes they will be able to use more equipment, better equipment and unleash bigger and badder attacks on your enemies each stage. It's a different game to say the least. Sort of like Angry Birds but with attacks, a leveling system and weird egg shaped enemies. It will also receive the usual graphical eye candy enhancements most THD games come with.

This game slipped onto the Tegra Zone app a few days ago and has since been pulled off of it. When it was up there on Tegra Zone for viewing, it had a release date of November 2011 so we won't have to wait long to try out this rather unusual game. Until then though, check out the trailer below.
