Distinctive Developments has been making sports games for awhile now, some of which you've probably already played on your Android device if you follow their 'Nations' series. The newest addition to the group is Hockey Nations THD 2011 and it's now available to download off the Android Market or Tegra Zone.
As with any THD title, you will see a better display of eye candy as opposed to the non-THD version of the game, not to say the non-Tegra 2 version isn't good or anything. In Hockey Nations THD 2011, you can pick from 18 international teams or one of 40 city teams to play as and customize. There is also a ton of game modes to play through, six in total actually, each with their own unique style of gaming such as the World League or you can pop into practice mode.
Features:
One of the great things about Distinctive Development titles are the fact that they use stop-motion capture of real players and bring that into the game for a much more realistic type of Hockey game. There is also a local multiplayer mode should you want to battle it out on the ice with your friend. Speaking of battling it out, Hockey Nations 2011 was the first hockey game on Android to bring fighting into the mix which, if you are a hockey fan, you know is an essential part of the game.
You can download Hockey Nations THD 2011 for your Android Tegra 2 device off the Android Market or the Tegra Zone for $4.99.
