Not too long ago Atari released their 'Greatest Hits' game package on iOS and at that time there was no mention that this would make it's way over to Android. Well apparently Atari didn't want to leave Android out of the retro gaming fun and have released the same package, called Atari's Greatest Hits, onto the Android Market.

This package is for the retro gaming enthusiast who loves the old arcade and Atari console games. It has just about every major title available for you to play. This is a direct port of the iOS version though so some of the standard features like not using the back button on the phone to go back to the previous page in the application. If you can handle minor things like that then you will have a total of 99 titles available for you to enjoy.

While we won't list all the titles here in this article, you can check out all the games that this comes with by checking out the game's market description where they are all listed. The initial download is free and that enables you to play one game for free. The rest are all accessible through in-app purchases at $0.99 a piece so you can pick and choose which games you want to play. Games are sorted out into packs like the Star Raiders Pack which comes with Star Raiders, Liberator, Star Ship - MP and Human Cannonball. If you want to just buy all the games you can do that as well and save a bit of money instead of buying the packs individually. Buying all the games will set you back $9.99.

Side note: A lot of people are complaining about the controls for some of the games. Keep this in mind when you download this as it weighs in at 42MB in size.
