Madfinger Games has been hard at work bringing improvements and more features to their Gears of War style game called Shadowgun. Currently in the works is multiplayer mode which will be similar in style, in the initial launch, to what you would find in other console games with different maps and gameplay modes like Death Match and Team Death Match.
As they keep developing the multiplayer aspect of Shadowgun, they will bring much more unique types of gameplay to multiplayer aside from the stand ones you find in console games. Shadowgun also supports the use of game controllers should you want to use one to play the game. However, it appears that is not the only thing they are working on either.
According to PocketGamers, Madfinger Games is working on bring support for the Xperia Play controls to Shadowgun as well. This should make a lot of Xperia Play owners happy since they will be able to play this bad ass game using their controls instead of the touch screen. No word on exactly when this update will arrive but it shouldn't be too long since this is pretty easy to set up.
