The name Origin8 might sound familiar to you and that would be due to their recently released visually awesome tower defense game called Sentinel 3: Homeworld on Android. Now they have released a new tower defense style of game called Space Station: Frontier.
Space Station: Frontier is a tower defense game at it's core but it does bring with it some interesting elements from RTS (real-time strategy) games as well. Players will have to mine up their own resources which you will use to build up your defenses in order to fend off aliens battling it out for the territory which you happen to be smack in the middle of.
Features:
Space Station: Frontier comes with both a storyline mode and a bunch of freeform endless modes to play through. The defense set-up in this game is also very unique a definitely a lot different than your standard tower defense games with just building towers and calling it a day. To top it all off, the visuals are pretty slick as well which is no surprise considering how awesome the eye candy was in Sentinel 3: Homeworld.
So if you are in the mood for a rather unique tower defense game today, you may want to check out Space Station: Frontier. You can grab this game off the Android Market for $1.99. You can check the game out in action in the trailer below.
