Fishlabs Entertainment releases Galaxy on Fire 2 - Valkyrie exclusively for the Xperia Play

Fishlabs Entertainment's rather awesome space shooter/RPG called Galaxy on Fire 2 is now available exclusively on the Xperia Play. Currently the original Galaxy on Fire 2 was strictly a Tegra 2 game but the crew at Fishlab's has released it now for the Xperia Play but that's not all! It's also free!

Galaxy on Fire 2 is a great space shooter/RPG combination in which you complete quests, fly through different galaxies completing missions and shooting down the enemies, upgrading your ship and a whole lot more. In fact upgrading your ship could be a game itself as there are a ton of combinations and extra add-ons you can get for your ship, or buy a new one and start building that up from scratch when you get tired of your old one.

This news is two fold though. Aside from Galaxy of Fire 2 being released for the Xperia Play, the add-on adventure to the game called Galaxy on Fire 2 - Valkyrie is only available exclusively for the Xperia Play through an in-game purchase of $4.99. You will get the original for free and have the option to buy the add-on to continue the story. This add-on, however, is not yet available for the Tegra 2 version of the game so Xperia Play owners got themselves another temporary exclusive.

On a side note: The original Galaxy on Fire 2 for the Xperia Play will be free until January 1st, 2012. After that Fishlabs will somehow be raising the price up back to normal.
