When it comes to match-3 puzzle games there is one series that has done very well regardless of whatever platform it is on and that is the Bejeweled series of games. Today on the Amazon App Store for Android Bejeweled 2 from EA is the free game of the day.

Now considering the popularity of this series of games across all platforms it's available for, most people reading this should already know about Bejeweled 2. For those of you who have somehow missed this game or any different version of the Bejeweled series, your goal is to match three or more of the same colored gems together in order to make the disappear from the playing field. Along the way you'll be able to grab different power-ups to help you do this, collect enough points, and proceed to the next level.

Bejeweled 2 Features:

  • Enjoy dazzling match-3 gameplay
  • Play in Classic, Action, or Endless mode
  • Track your points, ranks, gems, combos, and more
  • Plenty of stats to look over including biggest combo, best score and biggest cascade
  • Power-up to collect to help you out

For those of you who like match-3 puzzle games and haven't snagged this one yet, now would be a good time to do so. Of course you'll need access to the Amazon App Store to download. If you don't you can always buy it off the Android Market for $2.99. Regular price on the Amazon App store is also $2.99 but for today it is free. If you are used to the faster gameplay of Bejeweled Blitz though, you may want to wait till that comes out instead.
