Bent Spoon Games' first title for Android is being called an experimental interactive narrative. We talked about this game roughly a month ago, called A Girl With A Heart Of, and were pretty intrigued by it as it features some pretty interesting visuals not normally found in a mobile game.

The visuals were not the only thing that seemed interesting as well but the storyline also. A Girl With A Heart Of is a game about a small girl called Raven who is 11 years old and was separated from her parents during an attack on their city by the Light Army. The Light Army are surface dwellers while Raven and her people live in the subterranean city of Underfoot. As the story progresses it turns out that Raven plays a critical role in this conflict between the two races due to her artificial heart.

A Girl With A Heart Of Features:

  • Lots and lots of captivating dialog.
  • Fascinating new fantasy world.
  • Beautiful and unique art style.
  • Multiple complex characters with dynamic personalities that respond to your choices.
  • Interesting and challenging discussion topics.
  • Multiple endings based on your decisions.

One of the great features in A Girl With A Heart Of is the fact that, depending on the choices you make in the game, your ending will be different. Think of it as a choose-your-own-adventure book style of game but with RPG elements through into it since you are actually controlling the girl, making the decisions and interacting with various other characters. This gives the game a lot of replay value, especially for those of you who enjoy finding all the multiple ending in any given game which used to be a big thing in console titles. Also, depending on your choices, the character you interact with will respond in different ways to you.

As with all indie games you can always expect something different and the visuals are certainly that with the more hand-painted feel that they come with. Overall it's very artistic and creative as is the story line. If you've been waiting for this game to come out since we mentioned it last month, you can now grab it off the Android Market for $2.99. You can check out the game in action in the preview below.
