Naoplay has announced their upcoming game which will be released on both Android and iOS called MetroJoust. This new game will be jousting like the medieval times except it will be in modern day, on moving vehicles like motorcycles and scooters.

Not only will this be modern day jousting, there will also be RPG elements brought into the game such as leveling up, new gear and vehicles to obtain and even a guild feature so you and your friends can be in the same guild and battle it out with rival guilds. You'll be able to interact with other players as well as NPCs and according to the developers, there will be thousands of items in-game at the time of launch.

As you may have guessed by the ability to interact with other players and create guilds that this will have cross-platform multiplayer when it launches. I guess technically, if there is enough players to earn the title, this could end up being an MMO. Since this will be multiplayer you will also be able to customize your character as well.

MetroJoust is slated for release on iOS and Android sometime in Q1/Q2 of 2012 and will also be available online to play through your browser as well. You can check out some of the concept art and locations in the images above.
