Angry Birds Rio's final update now being pushed to the Amazon App Store

You may remember a few days ago we talked about some leaked picture that displayed the last episode of Angry Birds Rio which was being named Smuggler's Plane. Well today Rovio has just announced on Twitter that this new, and final, update is now being pushed to the Amazon App Store.

While this update will land on the Amazon App Store first for the paid ad-free version of Angry Birds Rio, the Android Market version should be following any day after today as Rovio likes to give the Amazon App Store customers a bit of an exclusive for a couple of days. So what is coming in this last update?

  • 15 new levels to battle your way through
  • Obviously a new location
  • More hidden fruit and achievements
  • Possibly a surprise?

While the update seems pretty typical of all the other updates Angry Birds Rio has had in the past, this one is the final one so we could see a surprise hidden somewhere in there as sort of a last big finale to the Rio edition of Angry Birds. For now though, if you have the ad-free version from the Amazon App Store you can go ahead and update it to get the final chapter. Everyone else who uses the Android Market may have to wait a day or two before you can enjoy it.

When it lands on the Android Market, we will be sure to update everyone.
