You may remember the name Grey Fin Studios as they were the developers of the MiniSquadron series of games that were quite popular. Well they have decided to branch out and release an off-road racing game called Acceler8 onto Android instead.

Acceler8 is an off-road racing game in 3D which is about as no rules as it gets. You'll be racing against computer AI opponents that don't have a problem at all trying to run you off the road in order to win the race so you will have to be just as ruthless as they are.

Acceler8 Features:

  • More than 10 tracks in multiple locations (with more to be added in the future)
  • 2 different race modes
  • Stunning 3d visuals!
  • Online leader-boards so you can compete with players across the globe.
  • Huge, open, environments. Drive wherever you want!
  • Collect prize money by winning races, and use it to upgrade to faster and better vehicles.
  • Tilt controls for steering, with support for Zeemote bluetooth controllers.
  • Optimized for both phones and tablets.

Acceler8 comes with a few options of controls that you can use whether it's through a bluetooth Zeemote or just by using a combination of on-screen buttons and your devices accelerometer. The tracks are also open world so just because you get nudged off the actual track doesn't mean you can't keep going head first into the race either. If you're into some extreme style racing games then you may want to check this one out. It's available on the Android Market for free.

To check the game out in action, feel free to watch the trailer below.
