You may remember back in October when we reported on the hit indie game, World of Goo, and that it would be arriving onto the Android platform soon. Well there is good news for all of you who have been waiting for it's arrival. It's slated to be released onto the Android Market this Monday.

Developed by 2D Boy, World of Goo is a physics-based puzzle / construction game where you have to get the Goo Balls to the exit on each stage. The story is that the Goo Balls wanted to go out and explore the world but unfortunately for them, they have never done that before. This is where you come in and help them explore each stage, getting all the Goo Balls to the exit in each level. Think of it as sort of like a Lemmings-style game but based around physics and construction instead of a continuous stream of walking, suicidal animals.

Back when we first reported on it, 2D Boy said that the game was basically ready and that there were only a few kinks left to be worked out. Well we are guessing those particular kinks have been ironed out and the game is ready to go. World of Goo will be available for all devices running Android 2.2+ and will cost around $4.99 when it lands on the Android Market this upcoming Monday.
