While normally we would just talk about the free game for today that the Amazon App Store has up for anyone who can access the store to grab, since today is Black Friday we have also included a list of all the games on sale for Black Friday on Amazon.

The Free Game

The actual game that is free today is a puzzle game from Com2Us called Slice It!. This game has actually been around for a fair amount of time on Android and is a pretty solid puzzle game, albeit frustrating at times. In each stage you have to slice whatever shape is given to you into equal parts. You have only a certain amount of lines you can draw per stage to cut whatever that particular shape is into equal parts. It starts off pretty easy but eventually gets very hard.

Slice It! Features:

  • Play fun, geometry-based puzzles
  • Slice objects into equal sizes
  • Lose sleep in 200 unique levels
  • Compete with friends
  • Try to get 5 stars on every level

If you're up for a challenging but fun puzzle game to kill some time with this weekend, and you have access to the Amazon App Store, they you should definitely give this title from Com2US a whirl. You may also want to check out their new MMORPG that just came out, The World of Magic, which is available on the Android Market for free. As for Slice It!, you can download that off the Amazon App Store for free for today only!

The Black Friday Sales

Since this is Black Friday though, Amazon has a slew of deals going on right now including all their smartphones for only $0.01 when you sign up for a 2-year contract. This includes phones like the new Motorola Razr 4G. However we are here to talk about games, or more importantly, game that are on sale! After doing some snooping around their entire list of games (and apps) that are on sale for Black Friday, we found some pretty nice titles you may want to pick up, even some Kindle Fire edition games too!

There are plenty more than just those in the list above but those are some of the more notable games (and a couple of apps) that are all on sale for at least 50% off. So if you're up for buying some games and you've already pillaged Gameloft for all their titles since they are all $0.99 right now for US and Canada residents, well then you might as well start pillaging Amazon too.
