A couple of weeks ago we mentioned that the retro classic game, Dizzy: Prince of the Yolkfolk, would be getting a facelift and making it's way to Android and other mobile platforms soon. Well we now have an official trailer for Dizzy along with some new screenshots to show off.

Released back in the early 90's, Dizzy came out for the home computers that existed back then such as the Commodore 64 and other older PCs.The actual series itself debuted in the 80's and lasted until the early 90's so it wouldn't be surprising if a lot of people don't know about this action platformer from back in the day but the series was quite popular. your goal is to rescue and awaken Daisy which will also somehow bring peace to all your friends who are the Yolkfolk. If you haven't noticed by now with the title, the main character is an egg.

Codemasters has taken the original game and remastered it with all new HD graphics while keeping the rest of the game, including the level designs as close to the original as possible. It's slated for release on Dec. 9th onto the Android Market which is only a week away so until then we just have to enjoy the new screenshots (a lot of them) and trailer.
