While some games will be Tegra 3 exclusive titles, and of course all Tegra 2 games will be playable and see performance improvements on Tegra 3 devices, a new game has appeared which we didn't really talk about in the past weeks when it came to all the new Tegra 3 games coming out. This game is called Big Top THD.

Why didn't we talk about it back a few weeks ago when we were covering all the Tegra 3 gaming news? Because we just didn't know hardly anything about it. In fact finding screenshots of the game was almost impossible. Now, as it has appeared in Tegra Zone with a release date of sometime this month, we have a bit more to go on.

We knew you would be controlling circus performers but that was about it. In fact you will be controlling high diver, plate spinner, juggler, knife thrower, and you'll be able to throw pies at clowns. Did we mention Tiger training as well?

Tegra 3 Enhancements:

  • Optimized animation systems and full utilization for devices using NVIDIA® Tegra 3™, quad-core mobile superchip
  • Advanced per-pixel lighting on characters and real-time shadow generation

Big Top THD current features:

  • Developed specifically to utilize the NVIDIA® Tegra™ family of mobile processors.
  • Features Knife Throwing, Plate Spinning, Juggling, Clowning Around, High Dive and Tiger Training

Big Top THD is simply meant to be a fun game to play where you will earn points on how well you do with each circus performer. The better your skills are, the higher the points. Graphically though the game looks amazing from the one screenshot we had seen a few weeks ago. Now we have more to go on and again, it looks amazing in terms of visuals. No word just yet on pricing however but we do know it is slated for release this month.

Still it's not a whole lot of information to go on in terms of how game play will work, although some stages look like it will use swipe gestures, but at least we get to see more of this game which is developed by Pitbull Studios.

Thanks to Roger Lyons for the heads up!
