Gamevil has just released their newest title for the Android Market called Colosseum Heroes. Essentially a sequel to the original Colosseum game, Colosseum Heroes features the same great style of monster hack n' slashing found in the first one only much bigger and better then it's older brother.

Once you've selected your gladiator, it's off to battle it out in rounds of Colosseum fights to earn cash and fame. With the cash you can upgrade all your gear so you can take on even stronger opponents and more of them at once.

Colosseum Heroes Features:

  • Hack and slash through an endless number of unique maps to secure the Colosseum
  • Choose a human gladiator or blood thirsty vampire and combat your way through evil
  • New challenge mode provides 3 minutes of intensified action in addition to the original stage mode
  • Customize and equip 7 levels of 126 spells, melee and long range weapons
  • Perform ice, thunder, fire and meteor skills to destruct 15 different types of monsters
  • Same style of visuals as the first game

There definitely seems to be a lot more content than the original with an endless number of maps and a much bigger variety of weapons and spells to use, each with up to seven levels to boost for more power. Gamevil has released this as a freemium game and as such is available for download for free. While you could spend money on the premium shop items, it isn't mandatory like you would find in other games from other companies like Glu where to actually progress through a game you almost have to buy in-game items.
