Glu Mobile's third-person-shooter game, Frontline Commando, now available on the market.

A few days ago we posted about an upcoming third-person shooter game from Glu Mobile called Frontline Commando and that it's official trailer had been posted. Well now instead of watching the trailer to get your fix, you can just go ahead and download the game now because it is on the Android Market.

Frontline Commando is a rather good looking third-person shooter game that follows the usual war-based theme most FPS games tend to do while letting you run around shooting people in the face with various weapons. The game overall seems pretty solid in terms of graphics and gameplay so most FPS fans should enjoy this one.

As with all of Glu Mobile's games as of late, this one is also a freemium game so while you can download and play the game for free, to unlock stronger weapons faster you will have to buy into the game through in-app purchase for virtual currency to spend on those more powerful weapons. Unfortunately Glu's idea of freemium or free-to-play is pretty skewed as it is suppose to be optional to purchase in-game items but the way Glu tends to do things, it's almost mandatory.
