In the hunt for new and unique ways to play tower defense games we have come across ones with different types of gameplay including one where you are actually the offensive units and the enemy is defending with towers. Bulkypix.AMA released a new tower defense game a few days ago called Hills of Glory: WWII.

Themed around World War II, in this new tower defense game you have to defend your hill by any means necessary. It is being called a vertical tower defense game as all the enemies come from the bottom and sides of the screen in order to make their way to your hill at the top of the screen. To stop them you have a variety of handy weapons at your disposal ranging from Rifles to Molotov Cocktails and even bigger weaponry.

Hills of Glory: WWII Features:

• Choose your favorite soldiers to fight against relentless waves of enemies and tanks.
• Choose from an astonishing array of powerful and fearsome weapons: rifles, mortars, Molotov cocktails, grenades....
• Detailed graphics, humor and an ever-enjoyable gameplay. The next-gen of Tower Defense games is here!
• Intense "Campaign Mode" and endlessly destructive "Quick Play Mode
• Open Feint social platform: many trophies to win, scores to publish online and records to beat.

The developers have even added some humor into the mix to give you a chuckle while you massacre endless amounts of enemy troops. One example, as you will see in the video below, is when you drop a big bomb on everyone. There will be this little guy riding the bomb all the way down.

Hills of Glory: WWII brings a bit of a twist to the tower defense genre for those of you who want something a little different. You can download this game off the Android Market for $1.99.
