Lonely Sock opens up beta sign-ups for their upcoming game Coral City

Lonely Sock might not be a name you are familiar with and probably for good reason, they are fairly new. However new they may be though I'm guessing we are going to see some pretty good titles coming out way from the Lonely Sock considering the team of eight is made up of industry veterans, mostly from Disney Mobile and EA.

Based out of Prague, Czech Republic, Lonely Sock has a game currently under development called Coral City. From what we understand, this is a Sim City / Social type of game where you will be underwater, building your own ocean city. It will come with "lively characters, innovative gameplay, social features and colorful humor for all ages". I admit it sounds interesting and seems to be similar to other games like Paradise Island although a bit more social and Sim City styled.

Unfortunately we don't have any more real information about Coral City just yet as it will be starting Closed Beta testing any day now. Lonely Sock has put up a sign-up page for anyone interesting in jumping into the Closed Beta to help test out, and of course play, Coral City. The game will be free-to-play and is slated for a February 2012 release though so we probably won't have to wait long to get more detailed information about Coral City.
