Triolith Entertainment developed one of our past Hidden Gem games called Wisp and now they look to be gearing up to release a new game called Megatroid. Before they do that though that want to host a web-based open beta where anyone can participate to help test out the core game mechanics.

Megatroid is a Megaman style game that will be coming to Android soon. While there really isn't a whole lot of information about the game right now, that will certainly change tomorrow (Jan. 5th 2012) when the open beta goes live. According to the developers though, it is a Megaman style game so we do know it is an action platformer with a futuristic theme. We also know that the graphics look pretty solid thanks to the single screenshot that has been release.

So if you are up for testing out an upcoming game tomorrow and dig platformers then why not check this one out when the open beta goes live. As far as we can tell it will be a quick one day beta run tomorrow so if you want to play it make sure you hit up the developer site tomorrow where they will post the link to the web-based version of the game to test out.
