It has been a little bit since we have done a Hidden Gem article and even though some of these indie games we talk about could fit into that category, there is one new title this month that warrants it right now and it is called Arenas Trail of Valor by EmeryOnGames.

This little gem of a game is described as an MMO turn-based strategy / RPG title. If you have every played any of the table top style of turn-based strategy games like Warhammer then you already have an idea of what is going on with Arenas Trail of Valor. While this isn't strictly a multiplayer game (players can do PvE content by themselves), the real fun is in the multiplayer features this game comes with.

The multiplayer portion of this game is actually broken down into two categories: player versus player and cooperative multiplayer. For those of you who enjoy battling it out against other people, this game is pretty much right up your alley. There are a total of five different arenas to battle it out in: Single vs Monsters, One vs One, Group vs Group, Free for All, and Group vs Monsters. There is a multiplayer style for everyone and yes, it is online and not just local.

Arenas Trail of Valor Features:

- a player versus player (pvp) and player versus environment (pve) complex fun combat and magic system.

- 5 types of ARENAS: Single vs Monsters, One vs One, Group vs Group, Free for All, Group vs Monsters,
- beautiful graphics and smooth 2d animations

Normally when it comes to a Hidden Gem game, we don't usually list the features but instead talk about them. In this case though a features list really helps show how deep the gameplay can actually get with this game. Between all the items, spells and races, there is a ton of content here to mess around with. To keep things a bit more personal, you can customize your avatar so everyone doesn't look the same.

Graphically this game is pretty solid as well and the animations it comes with do add to the fun of the whole game and the battles in it. The UI is quite well done also considering how complex the game can be and with everything you can do in it. If you have a tablet, naturally you will have more screen space and a bit better time with the UI than on a phone but people who play on a phone really shouldn't have much of a problem navigating everything either.

It is really good to see more of this MMO type of games coming to Android whether it is an MMORPG or a turn-based strategy game like this one or Hero Mages. If you want to jump right into the mix, just head over to the Android Market and pick this game up for $0.99. Lots of future potential with this game as well.
