Desktop Dungeons style game, Dungeon Ascendance, now available on the market

Fans of the Desktop Dungeons or similar games will be happy to know there is a similar style of game now available for Android called Dungeon Ascendance. Developed by Seramy Games, this titles lets you play as one of ten heroes and plants you in some dungeon crawling goodness to enjoy.

In Dungeon Ascendance you can select one of ten available heroes, which you can level up, to crawl through the rogue-like dungeons killing monsters and collecting loot. You have a variety of skills at your disposal as well as plenty of weapons to hack up some monsters with. This particular game is also very tactical in nature so you will actually have to plan your next move somewhat carefully.

There is a total of ten dungeons to work your way through but the stairs to get out are defended by the dungeon masters so you will have to take them out as well. Each hero is also a unique class with unique skills and Dungeon Ascendance comes with a full achievement system with challenges unique to each class for you to try and complete. Graphically the game sports a very retro feel which is totally fine for this type of game.

Dungeon Ascendance comes in two flavors, a free demo version for you to try out and a full version which will run you around $1.99. The $1.99 price tag is actually a sale price for a limited time and when the sale is over, the price will jump up to $2.99.
