Konami, who occasionally graces the Android Market with games, has released another title onto the market which is a retro-style RPG called Ash. Apparently this particular game has done quite well for itself over on iOS and Konami has decided to bring it to Android as well.
Ash is a turn-based RPG title lathered in retro graphics and gameplay. As the story goes, Ash follows "two mercenaries on the fringes of the Empire of Aghaus, a once-great kingdom now fallen into ruin after the death of its king five years prior. When a routine contract takes an unexpected turn, the two men are gradually embroiled in a conflict that consumes the entire continent—and brings to light the mercenaries’ puzzling pasts."

Ash Features:
• Breath-taking classic turn-based RPG action!
• Lush visuals captured by brilliant 16-Bit style graphics!
• A wonderfully compelling story unveiled through an epic adventure!
• Intuitive touch-based interface for easy to use and responsive controls!
Interestingly enough, the press release for Ash actually has this labeled as Ash II: Shadows. All the assets are the same as this game on the Android Market so whether this is actually Ash II: Shadows or the first Ash game and Konami accidentally made a mistake on the press release, letting out that there is a second game coming, remains to be seen.

However, if you dig retro RPG titles, which a lot of our readers do, then you will probably want to check this one out. You can do that by purchasing the game for $1.99 off of the Android Market right now.
