Sega has just let the hedgehog out of the back for the next, and final, installment in the Sonic 4 series and when it will be heading our way. For owners of a Tegra 3 quad-core Android device, the wait is almost over as Sonic 4 Episode 2 will be landing in your lap tomorrow morning.
Sonic 4 Episode 2 will most likely be the last addition to the Sonic 4 series of games, at least according to Sega who have announced that they have no plans as of right now to make another game. This new Sonic 4 game features co-op play with Sonic and his buddy Tails, some pretty slick visuals and lots of fast paced gameplay. We got a chance to play Sonnic 4 Episode 2 on an Asus Transformer Prime during GDC 2012 which you can check out the footage for below.
Along with the release date, Sega also announced the pricing for Sonic 4 Episode 2. When the game drops for Tegra 3 Android devices tomorrow, it will cost $6.99 however the Tegra 3 version will feature enhancements over the other versions which are slated for release shortly after the Tegra 3 version.
