Square Enix's upcoming Final Fantasy Dimensions game for Android and iOS is slated for release August 31st onto both platforms if the news from yesterday is true. There is also circumstances where there could be a delay or a possible location-based initial release could happen. Now, however, we know the price the game will be going for.
For those of you eager to get your hands on this game when it comes out, you will have to dig a little deep into that wallet of yours. Square Enix is planning to launch Final Fantasy Dimensions with a price tag of $28.99. This is, at least, what Square Enix Europe is planning to price the game at and assuming Square Enix USA will do the same, we can all expect to drop a health dose of pennies for this game. The official statement from Square Enix about the pricing goes like this:
Final Fantasy Dimensions is delivered as episodic content. The prologue will be free for everyone to enjoy. You can purchase the first chapter for $2.99 / £1.99 / €2.39, chapters 2-4 for $9.99 / £6.99 / €7.99 each, or the entire collection of chapters for $28.99 / £19.99 / €22.99.

So, now that we know what they price is, will this change anyone's plans for actually picking this game up or is there a market for premium games at this price point?
