So by now most people are familiar with the fact that Shadowrun Returns, one of two Shadowrun games that had successful Kickstarter campaigns recently, will be coming to Android tablets when it is released. We recently posted a piece of concept art which gave us a quick look at the environment and how characters will look in it.
Well now we get to take a bit of a deeper glance at what the game could very well look like thanks to more concept art being released by Harebrained Schemes. Overall it looks like they have decided to go with a bit of an isometric point-of-view which combines 2D backgrounds with 3D characters to make a hybrid 2.5D game.

While the characters have a bit more of a cartoon style to it, which we saw in the original piece of artwork released, is seems to border on taking influence from Team Fortress 2 in terms of style when looking at them out in the city, seen in the images below. Regardless of the style, according to The Escapist Magazine the characters alone have a pretty high poly count, coming in at around 2000 polys.

Of course this is all concept art and the finish product could end up looking very different or exactly like this artwork. Either way I think most people will be happy to just actually get the game finished and into playing it, as long as it is good of course. The concept art is done with the game's engine so these art in-game concept art assets.
