[Updated] Gameloft quietly launches a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale for USA, UK Get $0.99 games

Posted by AndrewH in Game News on November 12, 2012

Gameloft has quietly thrown up a sale that features a Buy 1 Get 1 free special where you could get games like Wild Blood, Asphalt 7: Heat and Order & Chaos HD for free when you buy another game. These sales are only through Gameloft's own store and not Google Play so to access it, you'll have to go their on your Android device to find the Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale.

Unfortunately we don't know if this is strictly for residents in the USA, for Nexus 7 owners, or if it is available for multiple locations and multiple devices. However, you can always check to see if you can access the sale by hitting up their web-based store. For those of you curious about the $4.99 price tag instead of the $6.99 price you see these games priced at on Google Play, it has been that way since Gameloft started releasing games onto the Play store. They add an extra $2 to the price to make up for what Google takes, or at least that's what we believe is the reason behind it.

If you live in the USA and can access this sale on a device other than a Nexus 7, or if you live outside of the USA and can access it, let us know in the comments below so other people can take advantage of it while it lasts!

Update: 3:01pm November 12th, 2012: The BOGO sale also appears to be available for my LG G2X which means that it should be available for most devices. Now we need to know if everyone can access it or just US residents.

Update: 3:08pm November 12th, 2012: The BOGO sale is not available for anyone else, at least not residents of the UK. However, all your games are on sale for £0.99 instead!

Thanks to John G. for the tip!
