A new first-person shooter has arrived on Google Play but you won't be running around with an AK-47 and shooting other people in this game. Instead you'll be taking the fight to space in Gunner Free Space Defender and utilizing a rather mean looking turret you will be blasting all of the enemies that you can out of space while protecting friendly ships.
The interesting part about this game is that you have a primary and secondary weapon at your disposal. While the secondary weapon has limited ammo, your primary weapon has unlimited ammo but each shot costs you one point from your overall score. So you can't really just sit there spraying the entire space in front of you if you actually want to achieve a score higher than 5.
The other interesting feature about this game is that your primary weapon can overheat and misfire. There is a temperature control gauge available so you can keep an eye on thing but if you overheat, you'll have to wait till your turret cools down.
Both game modes in Gunner Free Space Defender (Campaign and Survival) contain 32 levels each and if you want to try the game out first there is a free demo available. However, if you want the full version, you can pick that up for $1.99.
