The folks at Firemonkeys have released a new developer diary video which this time talks about the multiplayer functionality that will be arriving with Real Racing 3. The multiplayer mode, called Time Shift Multiplayer, will allow players to race against other people anyone, anytime and even if they are offline.
All single career event that comes with the game will be filled with fully interactive AI controlled time shift doubles of your friends on Facebook as well as other players from around the world. That means you can race against your friends even without having to wait for them to come online and actually play their vehicle.
Right now Real Racing 3 is slated for release by the end of February, 2013 and will arrive on iOS first with Android following at some point after that.
