Zen Studios announces their new Star Wars Pinball series

Posted by AndrewH in Game News on February 05, 2013

Zen Studios has announced that they will soon be releasing a new series of tables for their Zen Pinball platform themed around the Star Wars universe. For the purists out there, this new collection of tables have been 'developed with authentic Star Wars moments' with each table featuring a different iconic moment from the Star Wars universe and interactive 3D characters.

The first three tables in this new collection will be Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett, and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. In the first table that ends up being released, players will take control of Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. As with a lot of Zen Pinball tables, there are plenty of other features aside from the eye candy and overall great table designs such as global leaderboards, experience in-game friend challenges, local hotseat, online multiplayer and so on.

Right now there isn't a whole lot of further details released as of yet including the price of each table or when the first one will become available for download. However, if you currently have Zen Pinball installed on your Android device, you are already aware that these new tables will be made available as downloadable content you can purchase through in-game payments.

What we do have though is a large selection of screenshots from the first three tables that will be heading our way soon. We also have the official teaser trailer for this new collection of Star Wars tables for Zen Pinball, which you can check out below, in order to tide you over until the tables are released. As soon as we know when they are going to be released, we will post an update. If you're a pinball fan and haven't downloaded Zen Pinball yet, you can do so for free off of the Google Play store.
