Escape from Big Brother using Parkour style running in Vector

Posted by AndrewH in Game News on February 08, 2013

A new Parkour inspired game has hit the Google Play store with a rather cool futuristic theme to is as well called Vector. Developed by Nekki, this game features a totalitarian world where Big Brother is watching everything and everyone. As a freerunner with a sense of independence, you break from the 'system' and run to freedom in true freerunning style.

We actually talked about this game coming to Android back in July 2012 and it was supposed to arrive that Fall but apparently it got delayed until now. This is a continuous running game but instead of just jumping and turning like in most other games of this nature, you will be vaulting, sliding and climbing along side running in your attempt to escape Big Brother who is chasing you for not falling into place like the rest of the humans.

Vector Features:

- Arcade gameplay from the makers of the hit Facebook game
- Astoundingly lifelike Parkour-inspired moves made possible by Cascadeur animation tools
- 30+ awesome, challenging levels, with more and more added with each update
- Quick to learn, challenging to master

This game will be every expanding according to the developers with plans to keep adding more levels and content in future updates. The art style is rather unique too, with a sort of minimalistic style but set more in the not-so-distant future. Animation is very smooth as well for this type of game and it actually feels like a Parkour game instead of a more rigid running title.

If the theme and style of this game hasn't caught your attention then maybe the game's trailer will which you can view in the video above. To snag yourself a copy of Vector, just head on over to the Google Play store where you can download the game for free.
