Recently we mentioned that the newest addition to Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter franchise would be arriving this month and now rumor has it that it will be arriving tomorrow. Dungeon Hunter 4 is going back to the majority of the franchise's roots from the first couple of games where there was a storyline and actual dungeons to crawl your way through, killing monsters and getting to loot.
Update April 10th, 2013 9:58am PST: It has actually been confirmed by Gameloft that Dungeon Hunter 4 will be arriving onto Google Play tomorrow as well. This confirmation comes from an official announcement through the french edition of Gameloft's Blog.
Even though the series started as a Action-RPG dungeon crawling style of game, later on in the more recent releases the franchise changed into mostly an arena style fighting game with very little storyline and actual dungeon crawling. Dungeon Hunter 4 drops the majority of the arena style content and takes players back into the dungeons.
Dungeon Hunter 4 will have four different classes players can choose to play as (the standard Warrior, Mage, Knight and Rogue) before heading out into the cruel world of dungeon crawling and loot hording. You'll also be leveling up of course, getting stronger and getting new skills. This game will offer both co-op and PvP multiplayer action as well so you'll be able to team up with a friend to kill some of the stronger bosses, then turn around and kick his ass for helping you.
Well it is now confirmed that Dungeon Hunter 4 will be arriving for iOS devices tomorrow (tonight at midnight technically) and while it is stated that the Android version will follow shortly afterwards, word is circulating that 'shortly afterwards' also means tomorrow although exactly when isn't known. Of course take this with a grain of salt but it is very possible we will see the game arrive on Google Play tomorrow as well.
