Speedball 2: Evolution about to launch on Andorid

Vivid Games and Tower Studios have teamed up to bring you the classic game Speedball 2 made for modern devices in the 'glory it deserves'. Most gamers have played at least one of the Speedball games in their lifetime and tend to love the classics very much. This will apparently be no exception as "The game will be released in 20th Anniversary of Speedball 2 Brutal Deluxe."

While there is relatively little known about the game in pretty much every aspect, one thing was mentioned in the forums which is where I am getting all these quotes from and that is Speedball 2 will have multiplayer and a whole lot more feature-wise added on top of the original game. Fancy another quote?

"We have been working very hard over the past few months to bring this classic title to modern systems in glory it deserves. Expect very Amiga experience! The game will be released in 20th Anniversary of Speedball 2 Brutal Deluxe. And yes - there will be multiplayer included + many more features added on a top of original game!" - Vivid Games (Touch Arcade forums).

They have released a trailer for us all to watch which shows pretty much absolutely nothing of the game so it's fairly useless but we have included it below should you want to see it. This will either be a very good game or a very bad re-make. I guess we will have to wait and see although the wait shouldn't be much longer as the release is 'imminent'.
