Frogmind Games has announced that they will be bringing their multi-award winning atmospheric action platformer Badland to Android in the near future. For those of you not familiar with this game, Badland has been available on iOS for a bit now, netting over 7 million downloads in the process. Now Android games will soon be able to get their hands on it.
Update December 2nd, 2013 8:05am PST: Badland is now available on Google Play to download for free. Link to the game's Google Play listing added below.
Badland is a lot like other atmospheric platformers currently available for Android with the art it comes with. Dark foreground with a colorful background. The difference in the art style however is that unlike a lot of games of this nature, Badland's background is rather colorful, not just one color but multiple shades and designs.
When the game is released, Badland will come with around 70 levels to work your way through, putting it on par with the iOS version currently available. The developers have also been updating the game with new content and plan to continue doing that after the Android version's release.
As for when you will be able to get your hands on Badland, right now all we know is that it is coming 'soon'. Until then you can check out the game in action on a Nexus 7 tablet in the video below.
