Adobe Max 2010 is currently underway and some of the announcements that came out of today already have been some major goodies and could mean a lot when it comes to gaming on your Android phone. While detailed information is still currently being released here are some things you might want to drool over while you wait.

Full 3D support in Flash: Yeah, I said it. Full 3D support in Flash. Now lets have that marinate in your brain for a second... done? Full 3D support in Flash is a big deal. Why? Because it will make Flash one of the biggest gaming platforms available beating out companies like Unity3D in size. This also means that developers can make their Flash games 3D which we can play on our Android devices. Processor usage, which you would think would shoot through the roof, actually only increased by a slight margin. This may actually happen at a higher rate for mobile devices which brings me to my next announcement...

Flash Player support for Android Tablets and TVs: While this was pretty much a given from the moment Flash Player and AIR were released onto the Android Market for newer Android devices, it is nice to know that full support for Android tablets and TVs will be included in Flash. This means you'll be able to play that Flash game you enjoy so much on your phone on your Android TV as well.

Samsung's SmartTV devices that will be running Android will also be shipping with Adobe AIR already integrated into the software on each unit. Oh wait did we just possibly release what the upcoming announcement on Nov. 8th, 2010 from Samsung could be? Probably not, it could be just the official announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Tablet coming in November 14th, 2010.

Game Controller Support: Flash has always tried to support the odd game controller here and there. Well announced was the support of current game controllers such as your XBOX or Playstation controller. If a developer builds support for controllers into their game, you'll be able to play a lot more games, a lot better on your Android phone or Tablet considering Android has full Flash support.

Technical details of how to go about this are still being hunted down but the moment we find out more, we will definitely make another post. Stay tuned for more Adobe Max 2010 and Android news.

Adobe InMarket: While more developer orientated, InMarket will allow developers to distribute their applications and games across multiple platforms and app stores within one easy application. This will save a lot of people a lot of time.
